CONSTITUTION

"Of The Co-ordination Commission for Gulf Insurance
& Reinsurance Companies"

(As in accordance with the decision of the Institutional Ordinary General
Assembly on 31 - 1 - 1993 - Abu Dhabi)

Amended by the decision of the Ordinary General Assembly on
20- 2-2008 Abu Dhabi

October 2009

The members of the Institutional General Assembly of the Co-ordination commission for the Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Companies, in their capacity as representatives of their companies in the following GCC States:

United Arab Emirates
Bahrain
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Sultanate of Oman
Qatar
Kuwait

And urged with their endeavour to attain co-ordination in between themselves in the various aspects of insurance activity, whether direct insurance or reinsurance, and with due respect to their indebtedness to promote insurance expertise and establishment of national cadres to contribute to this vital sector, which pre-requisite the existence of a special insurance forum to realize the objectives and aspirations of the AGCC member states.
The concerned members have agreed in their meeting held on 31Oct1993 in the Abu Dhabi to institute the "Co-ordination Commission for Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Companies."
